CalFresh Food (known federally as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) provides monthly food assistance to low-income individuals and families and offers economic benefits to communities. Catholic Charities of Orange County provides assistance to individuals and families interested in applying for or renewing CalFresh Food benefits (formerly known as Food Stamps) to afford additional nutritious foods.

CalFresh Healthy Living (formerly known as SNAP-Ed) supports healthy, active, and nourished lifestyles by teaching Californians about good nutrition and how to stretch their food dollars. The California CalFresh Healthy Living Program improves the nutritional health of low-income Californians by providing access to nutrition education, physical activity education, and leadership toward healthy community initiatives. CalFresh Healthy Living effectively reaches under-served and vulnerable populations who typically experience the greatest health disparities.
