CCOC is pleased to be featured on the cover of the Catholic Rural Life magazine. The 2025 Spring issue features a story by Mariajose Garorti -“Garden of Hope A Slice of Heaven in Southern California”.

The Garden of Hope was established in the summer of 2022 with a vision to provide fresh produce to families facing food insecurity while fostering a sense of community. Catholic Charities of Orange County has long been dedicated to serving vulnerable populations through various programs, and the garden serves as an extension of this mission. By offering a sustainable source of nutritious food, the initiative supports local families, seniors, and individuals experiencing economic hardship.
