The LEGACY OF LOVE
For the past 50 years, Catholic Charities of Orange County has been a lifeline of hope, mercy, and love for those in greatest need. Rooted in our Catholic faith and the call to serve, we have walked beside families in crisis, children struggling with mental health, and countless individuals searching for dignity and stability. What began as a small effort in 1976 has grown into a mission that has touched millions of lives, proving that when we serve with compassion, we change the world around us.
“Let all that you do be done in love” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
In these five decades, Catholic Charities of Orange County has stood in the gap during times of hunger, hardship, and uncertainty, offering food, counseling, education, and pathways to a better life. We have celebrated new citizens, comforted families in distress, and strengthened those who felt they had none left to give. This anniversary is more than a milestone. It is a testament to the power of faith in action and the unwavering support of our community. As we look to the next 50 years, we invite you to be part of this enduring legacy, so together we can continue bringing Christ’s love and hope to those who need it most. We could not have come this far without your support and compassion, and are blessed to celebrate this anniversary with all in our community.
