“An empty square of cement fenced in by a plain cinder-block wall in an industrial swath of Santa Ana now abounds with life, color and purpose.
An above ground garden, dubbed the Garden of Hope, has started producing varieties of vegetables and herbs in galvanized animal feed tanks, perched on top of repurposed athletic team benches in what was once a parking lot at the Cantlay Food Distribution Center, a food pantry operated by Catholic Charities of Orange County.”
